2009 Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild Conference

This is where is all started!

A beautiful resort in Indian Wells, California (just east of Palm Springs).

Can you say HOT!

During the day it was 95 plus and the evenings got all the way down to 8Oish.

As long as you stayed near the pool or inside... it was perfect! The grounds were gorgeous.

The room was great! You really should go and check it out but bring sunscreen, good book and a cute cabana boy... thanks for joining me Michael:)

This was my first conference and it won't be my last! I have been making soap for about 5 years and thought I knew a thing or two about soap. Not so, I learned so much from the workshops and I will now take all that great information back to the soap shop and create even more sudsy magic. Stay tuned!

The one thing I heard throughout the conference was CREATE A BLOG.

So, here I am with my first entry... my baby blog is born!
